1. A floor man suggested taking it off with chemical paint remover. 2. A. Use chemical paint remover, and use plenty of ventilation as you work with it. 3. Chemical paint remover will also work, but it is toxic and sloppy. 4. Chemical paint remover will remove the stain, but also take off the paint. 5. Chemical paint stripper is the second way to remove old finishes, but they may not remove a stain. 6. Chemical paint remover or grinding with a concrete grinding machine is the only way. 7. Chemical paint remover should make short work of it, because it is only a primer. 8. If all the paint is sticky, I would suggest stripping it off with a chemical paint remover, then scrubbing the floor thoroughly. 9. If it is plastic or varnish, use chemical paint remover the same way. 10. If the beams come off without messing up the swirled ceiling, try softening the glue with chemical paint remover and rubbing it off with steel wool. |
