1.   The FPP in return promised a review of the Constitution and of recent measures concerning trade unions, value added tax and land-leases for Indian cane farmers.

2.   What really riles the cane farmers is that while their exports are limited, NAFTA means the U.S. can sell high fructose corn syrup to Mexico.

3.   Agriculture Minister Seymour Mullings described Mignott as a courageous, resolute and a fearless spokesman for the cane farmers.

4.   The report puts most of the blame on cattle grazers and cane farmers although they themselves reject the findings.
