1.   Besides building turbines and running wind farms, Kenetech builds biomass and natural gas power plants and sells energy efficiency services to major corporations.

3.   Norwegian engineering giant Kvaerner Energy has lost its attempt to build turbines for the controversial Three Gorges dam project in China, the Norwegian news agency NTB reported Friday.
