1. At the high end, the money is being spread thick as bark mulch. 2. Bark mulches are usually made from the by-products of pine, cypress or hardwood logs. 3. A layer of bark mulch may help reduce splashing of infested soil particles. 4. A. Unlike typical bark mulches, licorice root mulch is fibrous, knits together and is very dark when wet. 5. Fill containers with pure bark mulch or a soil with bark mulch in it. 6. I sometimes use a layer of shredded pine bark mulch to give beds a tidier appearance. 7. If you do this, take care not to pile the bark mulch against the tree trunk. 8. In spring, instead of paying for another two inches of new red bark mulch, just sprinkle enough of that fancy stuff to cover the leaves. 9. It costs about twice as much as standard bark mulches, but it must have its fans because the company says it sells all it can make. 10. Outline the triangles with bricks and form a pathway with bark mulch, pebbles, flagstones or mowed grass. |
