31. Place the strawberries, side by side and stem end down, in a baking dish. 32. Peel the pears, then slice each in half lengthwise from the stem end. 33. Pull off stem ends and shake to remove most of the seeds. 34. Push wooden craft sticks into the stem end of clean apples. 35. Place a leaf on the counter, vein-side-up with the stem end closest to you. 36. Remove stem ends from tomatoes and finely chop. 37. Press jelly or licorice strings onto stem end for hair. 38. Remove pulp from garlic by slicing off stem end and gently squeezing skin. 39. Quarter the figs, cutting out the hard stem ends. 40. Remove stems and insert wooden skewers into stem end of each apple. |
