31.   The shelling in Pakistani Kashmir was reported from three southern districts of Poonch, Kotli and Bhimbher, and in some areas the bombardment was intense, they said.

32.   Meetings in support of Dudayev have been continuing in Shali for several days, and residents said they feared a Russian bombardment was imminent.

33.   The bombardment is in violation of an April ceasefire accord for south Lebanon under which Israel and Hezbollah pledged not to attack civilian targets.

34.   The most recent bombardment was last Thursday at Mazar-I-Sharif, the largest town in northern Afghanistan.
