21.   Kinshasa has accused all three of its neighbours of supporting the rebellion, charges which they have strongly denied.

22.   Kinshasa repeatedly accused Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda of supporting the rebellion, a charge their respective governments deny.

23.   Sudan meanwhile insists the border towns and villages have been overrun by Ethiopian troops, and has promised to punish Addis Ababa for supporting the rebellion.
