Conditions in the middle and upper levels of the atmosphere are mildly conducive for shower activity ... Which is evident by morning showers moving into the area. 24. Daytime heating in combination with high humidity will produce this shower activity to form. 25. During the evening, shower activity is expected to shift to east sections. 26. Expect the shower activity to diminish significantly after sunset. 27. For this afternoon, most of the shower activity will concentrate over the western sections of Puerto Rico. 28. Furthermore, a weak area of low pressure at the surface over the eastern Caribbean will combine with aforementioned system to increase the shower activity over our area. 29. Generally fair weather is anticipated across the northeast Caribbean this afternoon with the best chance for shower activity across the west and northwest of Puerto Rico. 30. High pressure in the lower to middle levels of the atmosphere will remain dominant over the region, producing limited shower activity and hazy conditions again today. |
