11. Use wire brads to fasten the strips to the jamb surfaces on the interior side of the stop molding. 12. When covering the door, be sure to leave a gap around the perimeter to allow the door to close against the stop molding. 13. You can enlarge the opening by removing the stop molding on either side of the pocket. 14. You may also have to cut notches at both ends of the threshold so it can fit around the stop molding. 15. You must however buy the stop molding for the door frame separately. |
