11.   The U.N. Security Council was to hold an emergency meeting Thursday after British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook called on the council to condemn the Obrija massacre.

12.   Council of Europe condemns US dath sentence against a Briton convicted of rape and murder who is due to be executed later Tuesday.

13.   Last week, the council condemned in a resolution the Bosnian Serbs for atrocities committed in July in the eastern enclave of Srebrenica.

14.   The council also condemned massacres and reported human rights violations in the Abkhaz-held zones, the resolution said.
