11. Cool, moist winds will ascend the west slopes of the Rockies causing showers. 12. Further north, moist winds from the Pacific Ocean will cause scattered showers across northern Washington. 13. Moisture streaming north from the Gulf of Mexico will cause showers from eastern Texas into the lower Mississippi Valley. 14. Most of the West will be dry, but moist air intercepting the west-facing slopes of the Rockies will cause snow showers there. 15. Moist air circulating northward from the Pacific Ocean will cause showers across southern Arizona and portions of Utah. 16. Moist air surrounding a jet stream disturbance will cause showers along the Carolina shore, especially early Wednesday. 17. One of the disturbances will cause scattered showers near the southern Middle Atlantic Coast with light snow in the central Appalachians. 18. Several jet stream disturbances passing overhead will cause snow showers in the northern Rockies. 19. Skies will remain rather cloudy in Wyoming and southern Montana as a nearby front causes scattered showers. 20. The center of the disturbance that has brought wet weather to much of Florida this week will reach the Carolinas on Wednesday, causing heavy showers near the coast. |
