1. Shower activity will linger north and east Friday morning and early afternoon. 2. Only fragmented cloud patches are associated with this system, and there will be very little shower activity. 3. Over the rest of the area the skies were generally fair with only few clouds and very little shower activity. 4. A drier air mass over the northeast Caribbean will suppress most of the shower activity across the area for the next days. 5. A decrease of this shower activity is expected tonight and Thursday as this trough weakens and a drier air mass moves across the region. 6. A return to lighter southeast winds, less overall shower activity and slightly warmer afternoon temperatures is expected by the end of the week. 7. A modest increase in low level moisture locally will yield some weak shower activity late tonight and Wednesday. 8. A low level disturbance similar in nature to a tropical wave is the feature that has moved over our islands this morning and is causing the shower activity. 9. A small band of clouds moved across the easternmost Virgin Islands ... But little shower activity was detected with this band. 10. A trough will continue to move further away from the area today, taking most organized shower activity with it. |
