1.   Among the families that brought suit against W.R. Grace and Beatrice Foods for allegedly contaminating their drinking water, five children and one adult died of leukemia.

2.   Adults died in Centralia, Olympia, Cosmopolis and Seattle, killed by falling bricks and heart attacks.

3.   Aid workers there estimate at least six adults are dying every day.

4.   Officials reported that six refugee children have died from dehydration, while another seven adults have died from various other causes.
