A plume of Pacific moisture will take aim on the Northwest coast Thursday, bringing windswept rain to much of western Washington and Oregon. 6. A series of potent disturbances will flood into the Northwest, bringing windswept heavy rain to coastal sections and heavy snow to the interior mountains. 7. A powerful Pacific storm will lash the Northwest and northern California coasts Saturday with windswept heavy rain from near San Francisco to Portland, Oregon. 8. A vigorous storm center moving into the northern Mississippi Valley will cause windswept rain from the eastern Dakotas and Nebraska to southwestern Ontario. 9. After some wet snow early Friday along the Northeast coast, windswept rain will occur for much of the day. 10.
