1.   House specialties include grilled crab cakes, sea bass stuffed with crab, and white chocolate pudding with orange sauce.

2.   Scottish white pudding, I suddenly realized, is just like Jewish kishke.

3.   The white chocolate pudding can be used in place of plain vanilla pudding to spectacular effect in banana pudding, fresh fruit tarts or other desserts.

4.   Vanilla instant pudding and pie filling can be substituted for the white chocolate pudding, if desired.

5.   White pudding looked familiar to me, though there was no reason it should have.
