2.   Today saw the first of four weekly auctions, and five tons of holly and mistletoe were brought in by local farmers.

3.   Also Tuesday, the Treasury will conduct its regular weekly auction of new three- and six-month bills.

4.   Among the departments that closed because of the storm was the Treasury, which delayed its weekly auction of three- and six-month bills until tomorrow.

5.   And elsewhere in the Treasury market, the weekly auction of new three- and six-month bills was lackluster, with weak dealer interest.

6.   At the regular weekly auction of Treasury bills Monday, the rates were higher than they were last week.

7.   At the weekly Treasury bills auction Monday, rates were higher for the first time in five weeks.

8.   Also Monday, the Treasury held its regular weekly auction of new three-month and six-month bills, and the sale went better than expected.

9.   Bunds also showed little reaction after the Bundesbank left its lowest rate for repurchases of securities unchanged at its weekly auction.

10.   But rates at the weekly auction of Treasury bills Monday were up from the previous week, as investor interest was low before the Fed meeting.
