1.   Afternoon thunderstorms will blossom again over the central and southern Rockies as the uneven heating of mountains and valleys promotes vigorously rising currents of moist air.

2.   Meanwhile, a few thunderstorms will blossom from the Deep South to the lower Mississippi valley as a disturbance lifts the sultry air mass.

3.   Powerful thunderstorms will blossom Tuesday in parts of the northern Plains in response to a potent jet stream disturbance churning east along the Canadian border.

4.   Scattered thunderstorms will blossom in the sultry air, especially in south Florida.
