1. A few storms will ignite over the western Dakotas. 2. A spectacular meteor storm will ignite the heavens in mid-November, possibly disrupting satellites and threatening services such as cellular phones, television broadcasts and data communications. 3. Additional storms will ignite near the front from the southern Great Lakes region to the Middle Atlantic states. 4. Additional strong to severe storms will ignite over the northern Plains and Mississippi Valley on Wednesday afternoon as a disturbance passes along the U.S.-Canada border. 5. Isolated storms will also ignite farther west across northern Texas. 6. Storms will ignite across western Minnesota and eastern South Dakota and then forge eastward across the Great Lakes region. 7. Wednesday afternoon, a few storms may ignite along the dry line, but they will be rather isolated and probably not sufficiently strong to spawn severe weather. 8. Monday morning, Antiguan authorities cut off electricity supplies, fearing live wires loosened in the storm would ignite fires. |
