1.   In a deep-dish pie plate, spread softened cream cheese on bottom of dish.

2.   Spread softened butter evenly over dough.

3.   Spread softened ice cream evenly over cookie crust, building up slightly in center, if desired.

4.   Spread softened butter on outside of sandwiches.
