The US soya harvest was revised upwards, but those of Brazil, Argentina and China were revised downwards. 3. The US market was hit by a large Brazilian soya harvest, one of the largest in recent years, and by the continued large scale of US stocks. 4. These in turn were boosted by a rally in US corn and wheat prices and the announcement of a higher Brazilian soya harvest. 5. The commodity benefitted from prospect of a smaller-than-expected soya harvest in Brazil. |
