1.   The analysis was completed by a tabulation of results which consolidated the risk scores and financial strength ratings.

2.   Along with weighted returns, Morningstar calculated an overall risk score, based on three-year risk levels for all the bond funds.

4.   In that time it has earned an above-average rating from Morningstar Mutual Funds, with an average risk score and an above-average record of returns.

5.   Mornignstar rates the fund average, and has recently reduced its risk score from average to below-average.

6.   Morningstar Mutual Funds accords it an average risk score.

7.   Morningstar recently upgraded both these funds to five-star rank but also hiked the risk scores for both from below-average to average.

8.   Risk for Wellington is scored average by Morningstar, compared to below-average risk scores for Balanced Index and Wellesley.

9.   The risk score remains high.

10.   The T. Rowe Price Mid-Cap Growth carries a lower risk score in the Morningstar tallies and is rated above average.
