1.   There were only a few gulls, though, wheeling in a sky shot with ragged clouds.

2.   The night was clear, with a few ragged clouds hanging like a stage set for Swan Lake behind the palm trees and the quaint little town roofs.

3.   It was spitting snow, but far to the south the sun slashed through ragged clouds, spotlighting low rumpled mountains and dark green carpets of spruce.

4.   Ragged clouds along with occasional light showers will keep readings well below seasonal levels from the Dakotas to Missouri.
