5.   To prospective students the city offers a rich mix of academic, social and allied facilities -- libraries, museums and art galleries, theatres and cinemas.

6.   All prospective students, including those who hold only conditional offers, should apply for accommodation as early as possible.

7.   Prospective students are encouraged to make an initial proposal of their research work at the time of application.

8.   The faculty welcomes prospective students wishing to visit departments.

9.   If at all possible, prospective students should have prior experience of veterinary practice and of agriculture.
