A potent jet stream disturbance moving east from the Ohio Valley will cause low pressure to strengthen near the Virginia Capes. 3. A protracted period of mild, dry weather will begin in the Western States as high pressure strengthens over the region. 4. A moderate snowfall is expected across the upper peninsula of Michigan, Minnesota and the eastern Dakotas as low pressure strengthens near Green Bay. 5. Breezes from the northwest will be especially gusty in central and northern New England as low pressure strengthens over Nova Scotia. 6. Clouds and showers will move away from the Southeast coast Sunday as low pressure strengthens east of Virginia. 7. Clouds will increase from upper Michigan to Montana as low pressure strengthens over the western Plains. 8. Cooler, less humid will continue to spread from New England toward the Middle Atlantic states as high pressure strengthens over southeastern Canada. 9. During Monday night and Tuesday, a second surge of chill will cause low pressure to strengthen over the Middle Atlantic States. 10. Exceptional warmth for early December will cover much of the East as expansive high pressure strengthens near the Southeast coast. |
