1.   At higher speeds, the gasoline engine takes over, with the electric motor available for power boosts such as for passing or freeway merges.

2.   For one thing, the steering has a bit too much power boost and numbness, and the body roll in corners is still fairly acute.

3.   Minimal power boosts are found on the Ciera SL and Cutlass Supreme SL models.

4.   Nice feel on the brakes, very nice feel in the steering -- not too much power boost, but just the right amount of road feedback.

5.   The only complaint here is that the steering could use a bit less power boost and a bit more road feel.

6.   The steering is smooth and precise, but in our test car, there seemed to be a lag in the power boost when the wheel was turned quickly.

7.   A plane that loses its rudder may still be turned by engine power boosts, but the rudder is important to slow or brake the turn.
