1.   Although the notebook world seems to be moving toward trackpads, this machine uses a pointing stick not quite as precise as those on IBM Thinkpads.

2.   A pointing stick is mounted on the bezel to the right of the screen, with the buttons above each other behind it.

3.   Above the keyboard at the left are a pointing stick and two mouse buttons.

4.   I demand the central pointing sticks found on IBM and Toshiba models.

5.   In the PC ambit, you can easily find a lightweight machine with a pointing stick, a trackball or even a pop-out mouse.

6.   It was designed specifically for those of us who hate the touchpads and eraser-head pointing sticks that are standard on notebooks nowadays.

7.   The improved Trackpoint pointing stick is my favorite among portable pointing devices.

8.   The pointing stick in the middle of the keyboard feels a bit too short, and the palm rest a bit too shallow.
