1. At that point, the American crew objected to the Peruvian officer and called their own supervisors on the ground in Peru. 2. At one point, they asked the Peruvian officer on board their plane whether he was certain that the small plane was a drug trafficking aircraft. 4. Despite their objections, a Peruvian officer aboard the American tracking plane called in a Peruvian interceptor jet, which moved quickly to attack the small plane. 5. Fujimori charged that high Jordanian military officials were involved in the operation, and among those arrested were two Peruvian military officers. 6. Officials said it is unclear whether the Peruvian officer did so. 7. Six people were arrested, including two Peruvian military officers. 8. Soon after that, the American crew asked the Peruvian officer on board their plane three more times whether he was sure the plane was a narcotics flight. 9.
