1.   In addition, the Predator unmanned aerial vehicle has been used with laser target designators and Hellfire missiles for the first time in Afghanistan.

2.   The Green Berets called in airstrikes, using radios and laptop computers to transmit bombing coordinates to U.S. pilots, and laser designators to pinpoint other targets.

3.   The missiles worked, and new Predators will have points on the wings for carrying light missiles and a laser designator built into the nose.
