1.   The Japanese economy is showing signs of recovery.

2.   The Japanese economy will continue to outpace its foreign rivals for years to come.

3.   Analysts pointed out that, looking beyond the immediate chaos and suffering, the rebuilding of roads, houses and factories will boost the Japanese economy.

4.   And communication equipment makers rose on expectations that a revived Japanese economy might increase Asian demand for their products.

5.   And even then it is not clear that the troubled Japanese economy will still be expanding.

6.   And the Japanese economy continued to sag, restraining car makers from using profits at home to subsidize their operations here.
