3.   In San Diego, Derrek Lee and Alex Gonzalez homered to help Ryan Dempster win his first start of the season.

4.   In Houston, Michael Tucker homered to help Cincinnati sweep the four-game series and nudge into first place in the NL Central.

5.   Mike Bordick hit two doubles and drove in three runs, and Eric Davis and Roberto Alomar homered to help Baltimore to its sixth win in seven games.

6.   Shawn Green and Carlos Delgado also homered to help the Blue Jays gain a split of the four-game series.
