A cluster of heavier showers will sweep from the central Gulf Coast to northern Florida later Thursday and Thursday night as a jet stream disturbance moves overhead. 3. A cluster of heavier showers will occur near low pressure in the central Mississippi Valley and western Ohio Valley. 4. A cluster of heavier showers will accompany a weak low pressure zone traveling along the front from the central Ohio Valley to the Middle Atlantic states. 5. A band of heavier showers will occur in the interior Southeast where humid air will flow north from the Gulf of Mexico. 6. A cluster of heavier showers will accompany a weak low pressure system moving northeast into North Carolina. 7. A few heavier showers are possible late Wednesday and into Wednesday night in the lower Mississippi Valley. 8. A few heavier showers will occur near the eastern shores of Lakes Huron and Ontario. 9. A pool of cool air at high levels over the northern Plains will promote a few heavier showers, especially in the eastern Dakotas and southern Minnesota. 10. A weak tropical system over the western Gulf of Mexico may bring a period of heavier showers to the Texas and Louisiana coasts. |
