1.   Activity section of each unit gives practical assignments for pair or group work.

2.   Group work helps children learn to share things and relate to each other.

3.   Hands-on experiences require classroom arrangements that facilitate movement, group work, and varied activities.

4.   On the outside of the square are tables and easy chairs for group work and independent reading.

5.   The programme for each of the training days contains formal talks, group practical work, and plenty of time for discussion.

6.   Therapeutic input makes heavy use of group work, though individual therapy is also possible.

7.   Group work and team work skills will be emphasised and students will be encouraged to express their personal feelings and reactions to the residential experience.

8.   Group work continues on simulations and case studies during a residential weekend at Henley.

9.   Objects can be used in a whole class session or in group work.
