1.   If your switch has a ground screw, choose a replacement with a ground screw.

2.   Some may also have a green ground screw.

3.   The ground can be attached directly to the ceiling box with a ground screw, which is virtually always green.

4.   This is a plastic mat that normally sits under your keyboard and has a wire that connects to the ground screw in a wall outlet.
