1.   Another way to seal duct seams is with three-inch-wide fiberglass scrim tape.

2.   A better and more permanent wrap would be a resin-impregnated fiberglass tape that is activated by water.

3.   Divers sealed the pipe with fiberglass tape to prevent further leaking.

4.   I put fiberglass tape in the valleys where the panels butt, and applied three coats of joint compound, sanding between coats as instructed.

5.   If the joints are wide or have a tendency to separate, reinforce the mastic with fiberglass mesh tape or aluminum tape.

6.   It is best to apply fiberglass tape in a bed of joint compound over the crack.

7.   Tape the area with flexible fiberglass drywall tape.
