1.   Enlarge the crack with a chisel.

2.   If it has cracks in it, enlarge the cracks and trowel in mortar or hydraulic cement.

3.   So, enlarge the cracks with a utility knife or a can opener as deeply as possible.

4.   The joists may be sagging a bit, enlarging the crack.
