1.   A tropical depression will move slowly west through the Gulf of Mexico sending bands of clouds and thundershowers toward the coast, especially over Louisiana and Texas.

2.   Currently, depression has moved to center stage.

3.   In recent months, that depression has gradually moved two inches higher.

4.   The depression would move to the northwest, meteorological officials said.
