2.   The crew will wait almost two days before entering the station, first conducting a critical space walk to connect segments of the outpost electronically.

3.   The segments are connected by a central spine, and each has a pair of electrical servomotors.

4.   The station now consists of a Russian-made power and maneuvering module and an American-made node to be used to connect future segments.
