1.   Prime Minister Tony Blair has said Britain is involved in detailed discussions with the United States about the status of the British detainees.

2.   Britain will seek access to any British detainees brought to a U.S. military base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a spokesman for Prime Minister Tony Blair said Monday.
