1.   A federal judge ordered the service shut down in July, but an appeals court blocked the injunction.

2.   But Friday, U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals judges blocked the injunction until at least mid-September with a last-minute stay.

3.   The U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco blocked the injunction until it could consider the issues.

4.   Two days later, the appeals court issued a stay blocking the injunction.

5.   But United officials made it clear they would appeal the ruling and seek to block the injunction.
