1. Congress, accordingly, adopted a resolution favoring the Montagu-Chelmsford reforms. 2. Numerous programs for increasing the white population were debated in the colonial assembly, but no resolution was adopted. 3. Parliament adopted a resolution calling for the complete withdrawal of troops. 4. The resolution was unanimously adopted by the Senate. 5. Resolutions were adopted on departization and on subordination of military units in Ukraine to republican control, with the intention of creating a separate Ukrainian army. 6. It adopted resolutions supporting the UN efforts and setting up a mission to monitor human rights in Yugoslavia. 7. Resolutions were also adopted which approved the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Sino-Lao border treaty. 8. Delegates also adopted a resolution appealing to the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation to withdraw the forces of the former Soviet Union from Baltic territory. 9. The Supreme Soviet also adopted a resolution on the media. |
