31.   This week, Slade argued that the city did not hire her back because she had sued the agency for age discrimination.

32.   Under state statute, plaintiffs are not allowed to sue state agencies for six months from the letter of intent.

33.   Witnesses told lawmakers last week the IRS routinely forces taxpayers to agree not to sue the agency in order to settle tax disputes.
