11.   THE water situation in Petaling Jaya has worsened since Monday with the Petaling Jaya Municipal Council increasing the number of static tanks in badly-hit areas.

12.   This was because water tankers were deployed regularly and static tanks had been placed at strategic locations for use by hawkers.
