1.   BMW would supply its engines to Rolls-Royce, but would permit the British company to modify them to meet its needs.

2.   BMW, whose British ventures include the rights to manufacture Rolls-Royce luxury cars, will continue to supply engines for Rover.

3.   General Motors will supply Chevrolet engines for the IRL next year after completely dominating IRL competition with its Olds power plant for the past six years.

4.   Rockwell is set to supply engines for the space-shuttle replacement Lockheed Martin is designing.

5.   Rockwell also is set to supply engines for the space-shuttle replacement Lockheed Martin is designing.

6.   The engine will be supplied as part of a Trent Econopac packaged electrical generating pant designed by Westinghouse Electric Corp.

7.   The most important is that BMW already supplies engines to Rolls-Royce, which uses them in its newly introduced Silver Seraph.

8.   The plant supplies engines for GM Kodiak and GMC TopKick medium-duty trucks.

9.   After Vickers agreed to sell Rolls-Royce Motor Cars to Volkswagen, BMW said it was terminating an earlier deal to supply engines for some Rolls-Royce cars.

10.   BMW currently supplies engines for the new generation of Rolls and Bentleys unveiled this year.
