In my childhood, Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn Day were both of my most favorite traditional festivals. All kinds of festival food and celebration performance such firework show, that made me feeled so exciting. However, the it just makes me a short long vocation but nothing else. The youny people are willing to go out for a trip instead of staying at home, so am I. I just had a happy trip in Taiwan in the New Year holiday.
For all eastern festival, I just familar with Christmas. It's the most popular eastern festival in China, that sounds odd, but it is true. Even we won't have any vocation for the festival, but we will prepare partys and exchange gifts with each other, that is so such fun than the traditional festival.
In fact, I don't think people will be easy to forget the festivals. Because that is a good chance for the seller to make promotion. Such Taobao, it always has promotion during all kindly of festival or not, no matter if it is traditional or not. And people are always enjoy to purchase all kindl of goods with lower prize.
In my opinion, the festival to me is become normal days now, and I am rather than enjoy the days in my way.
