1.  As I see it, these two ways are different in understanding use of words.

2.  Finally, students learning English as foreign language improve their vocabulary by both reading a wide variety of books and other reading materials and translating and memorizing long list of test words, and they make these two ways cooperate well, they would get more chances of learning vocabulary well!
