1.  The nine Democrats, led by the vice chairman, Sen. Bob Kerrey of Nebraska, will spend much of their time defending him on those three fronts.

2.  After disgrace on those two fronts, he has turned to acting.

3.  NATO is not directly involved in prisoner releases or in normalizing Mostar, though failure on those two fronts could jeopardize overall compliance.

4.  So we are taking action therefore on all those three fronts - military, diplomatic and humanitarian.
