1.  E. coli is back in the news now that Congress is considering legislation that opponents say will weaken proposed food safety laws.

2.  It enlisted their support to reach everyone interested in getting out the message that the proposed organic food regulations were unacceptable.

3.  The proposed food policy also calls for a garden in every school, so students can grow, prepare and eat their harvest.

4.  It was still not clear Monday whether the proposed food drop to Hutu refugees stranded and cut off from aid by fighting in eastern Zaire would go ahead.
