5.  ESPN's college football telecasts last season averaged a 2.2 rating, its NHL telecasts average a .7 rating and Sunday night baseball averages a 1.6 rating.

6.  ESPN scored a 4 rating, or an estimated 2.85 million households, for its coverage of the NCAA women's championship.

7.  Even in their dark days, the Patriots still managed an 18.1 rating and 42 share here . . . CBS and Fox have Saturday games this week, as well.

8.  For Game 1 of the Mets-Braves series, NBC posted a 10.8 rating, up from a 9.2 in 1998.

9.  For history buffs, the 1968 all-daylight Series produced a 22.8 rating.

10.  For the Finals, L.A. averaged a 31.7 rating and 50 share.
