1.  Driving over the white wooden bridge that led to the farm, I found I was nursing an odd, melancholy excitement.

2.  Auckland was bathed in sunset, a city of white bridges, modern buildings, yachts, trees and dappled water.

3.  Clear Lake was an hour behind me when a white bridge signaled the unmarked turnoff to Wilbur Hot Springs.

4.  The white bridge already has eased traffic jams on the only other bridge, a near replica of the Golden Gate Bridge.
