1.  Plans for an independent Palestinian currency are still not yet clear.

2.  That appeared to satisfy Jordanian concerns that any abrupt issuance of a Palestinian currency could weaken the Jordanian dinar.

3.  Israel has baulked at the idea of a Palestinian currency saying it would be a symbol of sovereignty for areas which are only autonomous not independent.

4.  The Paris accord set the framework for trade relations between Israel and the self-rule territories but left until later any decision on whether a Palestinian currency would be created.
